Anyways talking about RAM SETU(The Adams Bridge) .This information is a crucial aspect for an insight into the mysterious legend called Ramayana, which was supposed to have taken place in tredha yuga (more than 1,700,000 years ago).

Adam’s bridge is NOT man made. according to the latest report by Archeological Survey of India, the bridge is a natural formation made up of shoals and sand bars. “They are of a particular shape and have formed due to several millennia of wave action and sedimentation,”

A structure is seen in the images, it is important to determine whether it was man made or not. There should be a scientific approach before it is destroyed for good. If this is man-made, arrogance of modern man is failing to accept that a civilisation existed to build this structure.

The most important issue here seems to be that for a very large number of people, this bridge has deep religous and cultural significance. The burden of proof should rest with the developer to find a solution which will not compromise such widely held religous and cultural beliefs and communicate the importance of finding a viable compromise proposal which largely provides for the need to conserve the past and develop for the future.

There are many things which science has still not revealed but those existed in ancient times and the Rishis were far intelligent than today’s so called scientists and doctors who rely totally western inventions.
1. In VEDAs there is a mention od Saraswati river and now it is found below ground in Rajasthan and Saurashtra.
2. Dwaraka , Ujjayani ( Ujjain ) and many more golden cities are down the earth.Still not getting properly escavated.
3. What was Bramhastra ? Can today anybody spell a Darbha ( a small stick of grass) withsuch powerful astra and throw on enemies?
4. Now it is found that the Shankh , Chakra, Gada and , Padma of Lord Vishnu are like the four famous galaxies in the space.
5. Ramsetu was definitely built by the ancient engineer NAL who was a disciple of Lord ShreeRam. No doubt. You will still find stones at Dhanushkody TN which float on water.
6. The western so called researchers could yet not find out which are the alloys in Ashokstambha which prevents it from rusting.
7. Isn’t there a mention on PUSHPAK plane in Ramayana and Vishnupurana ?
8. Lord Shreeram was a visionary master who walked though most parts of India to increase the BHAKTI and peace in the minds of common people. He killed innumerable demons / evil people on his way. Fourteen years of his life, he devoted to build the nation at that time. In the modern times Adi Shankaracharya, Swami Ramdas, Saint Dnyaneshwar, Saint Namdev and the latest Swami Vivekananda did the same. They all traveled through India to observe the problems and to unite people.
9. Can anybody dare thinking of destroying holy places of other religions? Just try. Then why Hindu’s? Hinduism is one of the oldest and one of the most matured religion in the world. We Hindus never deny any other religions and their beliefs unlike few other religions do. Then why others probe in to ours? I thinks few of the Hindus only are against the Hinduism. They think they are bigger and wiser than the religion. I pity on them. All the great scientists / politicians/ doctors etc in other religions follow their religions religiously. Then why only Hindus feel shy about their own religion?

The very essence of Hinduism is wrong. How can you associate partners with the ONE TRUE GOD. And for those of you who say that they worship Bhagwan THROUGH the idols, just think about it. If a friend does you a favor, would you thank someone other than that friend of yours? It does not make sense at all. Only God, the one true God is worthy of worship. STOP associating partners with Him.
You confuse creation with the Creator. How can the Creator Himself be a part of the creation (like in the case of Rama being a manly incarnation of God (God forbid))?

Recently i received a harsh comment over a religion which i dont wanna mention here.In the comment the reference has been given of the Dr zakir naik who is the greatest orator of the islam and other religion to and the founder of the IRF(islamic reasearch foundation) under the heading and reference as

What’s the buzz all about!! Should we think in terms of development, making our country a better place to live in keeping in mind in terms of economic development.
Nothing new in reminding that we indians are religious people and superstition has always been our guiding force behind everything we act and do since time immemorial. Taking one classic example of hindus never crossing the seas for the sake of hinduism and superstition it encourage and how it hampered development for the sake of religion ignoring all sorts of rational thinking, science and technology.
The irony is that, whitemen came to our indian shores in the recent past making a mockery of our blind faith and practices.
The white western men no doubt exploited us but we should also keep in mind they also help us to come out of blind belief and become more rational human beings, well, as humans, and we are suppose to be.
Should we go ahead or still cling on to old blind belief. God has given us enough common sense and rationality, lets make good use of it.
Tommorrow in some few millenias from now on, our children may worship harry potter, after it too has the potential to become myth like the ramayanas and mahabaratas written by valmiki, a poet and a writter.

The Sethusamudram Ship Canal Project (SSCP), which envisages dredging a deep water canal across Adam’s Bridge at India’s southern tip, has been in news for all the wrong reasons.
Yet, without negating the divine implications and without questioning people’s beliefs, there is a need to objectively analyse the project and assess whether it in our national interest.
The project, which would cost the exchequer around Rs 3,500 crores, entails building a 300 metre wide and 12 metre deep channel from Gulf of Mannar across the Adam’s bridge all the way to Bay of Bengal beyond Palk Strait off Point Calimere, a distance of about 44 nautical miles, so that the ships from the West Coast of India can transit to the East Coast through the Palk Bay, rather than going round Sri Lanka.

The protagonists of the project feel that the canal will save precious fuel and save transit time for the ships, and also develop the Tamil Nadu coast. Many feel that the entire traffic from the Persian Gulf and Red Sea to Malacca Strait will eventually take this route.
But the facts are somewhat different. The channel is being dredged so that the ships with up to 10 metres draught can transit through it. But almost all the tankers and bulk carriers from Persian Gulf or the Red Sea and bound for East or South East Asia are much bigger in size, and will not be able to use the channel due to constraints of draught.
Even for those ships that can transit through the canal, except for traffic from Tuticorin to Chennai, the time gained by most of the merchant ships on account of shorter distance will be more than neutralised due to delays that are inherent in transiting through a narrow channel, where pilotage in all probability will be compulsory. The ships will have to anchor and wait for a pilot (a local expert who navigates the ship through confined waters). Time will be wasted in waiting for pilot, embarking him, disembarking him and also due to speed restrictions mandated in a narrow and shallow channel.
If the traffic increases, then the ships will have to queue up as big ships will find it difficult to cross each other in a narrow channel like this. Any fuel saved will be neutralised by Pilotage charges and other charges likely to be levied on ships transiting through this artificially made canal. It is therefore unlikely that any significant shipping is likely to be diverted through this canal, even after it is ready. This poses serious doubts about the financial viability of the project.
From the security point of view, it must be noted that all big ships during their transit from Adam’s Bridge to Point Calimere will be extremely vulnerable to attacks by LTTE, as the ships on account of surrounding shallow waters will be constrained to move at a slow speed and follow a fixed path, which will pass very close to the waters dominated by the LTTE. This will provide LTTE a strong leverage against India and the flow of traffic through the canal will depend on India’s relations with this terrorist outfit. Strategically, India must aim to bring the countries of South Asia closer and strive for a South Asian Economic Union. But the Sethusamudram Project creates an unnecessary Gulf between India and Sri Lanka, which is uncomfortable with the project as it perceives it to be against Sri Lankan interests. Although it has been circumspect as it does not want to ruffle feathers in India, but Colombo’s displeasure is well known.

Several studies indicate that a land bridge between India and Sri Lanka would make enormous economic sense and the cost could be recovered in less than a decade.
As an emerging maritime power, India would like to monitor shipping in the Indian Ocean at least in its vicinity, and one of the most significant Sea Line of Communication close to our waters is the one that connects Dondra Head (South of Sri Lanka) to Malacca Strait. Though Indian naval ships would still have the legal right to be in Sri Lankan waters after the construction of Sethusamudram Canal, they would definitely lose the moral right to do so. The environmental impact of the project has not been studied adequately. It is believed that Adam’s bridge prevented Tsunami from affecting Kerala, but what is more significant is that the region has been prone to massive tidal waves and one such wave in the sixties had washed away an entire train from Dhanushkoti Railway Station.

The project will definitely have an adverse impact on the marine life even if the shipping lanes do not exactly pass through these waters; mere proximity will pollute the marine environment and destroy the coral reefs.
The local fishermen feel that this will not only ruin the fish breeding grounds but could also bring in deep sea trawlers, thereby threatening their livelihood.
It is therefore essential to dispassionately review the project and not see it through political or religious prisms. As the channel will not allow transit by bigger ships and small craft have always been transiting through Pamban Pass, it may be much more cost effective to dredge the Pamban Pass to allow ships of up to five to six metres to pass through. This may not even cost one per cent of the cost of SSCP, and besides saving exchequer’s money will definitely avoid the adverse environmental, security and strategic implications of this project.

When 5 alternative alignments are available to create a land-based canal, why has a mid-ocean channel channel passage been chosen as the Setusamudram Channel Project? There is an international conspiracy behind this choice.

According to the June 1974 Indira Gandhi – Sirimavo Bandaranaike declaration, these waters were declared as ‘Historic Waters’, meaning, waters territorially shared between the two countries and hence, internal to these two countries. US Navy operational directive of June 23, 2005 sought to change this declaration. The directive refused to declare these as ‘historic waters’ and to operationalise their assertion, sent their naval warships into these waters. This is a serious violation of national sovereignty which has gone unnoticed so far.
Why is America interested in these waters and why the desire to create an international waters channel? Clearly, the choice is to suit the convenience of the US Navy which wants to outsource to India, the coast-guarding of the sealane oil tanker traffic from Straits of Hormuz through Srilanka, through Straits of Malacca to the Westcoast of USA. The geopolitical perspective becomes apparent from the location of the US base in Diego Garcia south of Srilanka, of a very low frequency radio station (which uses ocean waves for transmission) at Trincomalee to listen to the submarine chatter and the US naval units in Singapore.

A serious breach of strategic national security created by the alleged exports of nuclear resources from southern coast of India near Rama Setu by some private parties, in violation of provisions in the Mines and Minerals (Development and Regulation) Act 1957 and Atomic Energy Act 1962. The judicial complaint lodged by Deputy Director, Geology and Mining, Nagercoil, Kanniyakumari District, Tamilnadu. Thorium and titanium (strategic atomic and space age metals) are found in these placer sands called ilmenite, rutile, garnet, zircon, monazite. Another report has appeared on 6 September 2007 and headlined in major newspapers all over the world that there is an imminent of threat of a tsunami more devastating than the tsunami of 26 Dec. 2004. This report appeared in the prestigious scientific journal, Nature. The report states that about 60 to 70 million people of the east coast of India in the Bay of Bengal will be at risk. When 5 alternative alignments are available to create a land-based canal, why has a mid-ocean channel channel passage been chosen as the Setusamudram Channel Project? There is an international conspiracy behind this choice.
This choice will internationalise the waters of Gulf of Mannar and create an international boundary between India and Srilanka, where such a boundary never existed. According to the June 1974 Indira Gandhi – Sirimavo Bandaranaike declaration, these waters were declared as ‘Historic Waters’, meaning, waters territorially shared between the two countries and hence, internal to these two countries. US Navy operational directive of June 23, 2005 sought to change this declaration. The directive refused to declare these as ‘historic waters’ and to operationalise their assertion, sent their naval warships into these waters. This is a serious violation of national sovereignty which has gone unnoticed so far.
Why is America interested in these waters and why the desire to create an international waters channel? Clearly, the choice is to suit the convenience of the US Navy which wants to outsource to India, the coast-guarding of the sealane oil tanker traffic from Straits of Hormuz through Srilanka, through Straits of Malacca to the Westcoast of USA. The geopolitical perspective becomes apparent from the location of the US base in Diego Garcia south of Srilanka, of a very low frequency radio station (which uses ocean waves for transmission) at Trincomalee to listen to the submarine chatter and the US naval units in Singapore.

Rama Setu is a tsunami protection wall which saved the coastline of Tamilnadu, Kerala and westcoast during the last devastating tsunami of Dec. 26, 2004.
It is impermissible to damage such a protective structure impairing the integrity and security of the nation.
A serious breach of strategic national security created by the alleged exports of nuclear resources from southern coast of India near Rama Setu by some private parties, in violation of provisions in the Mines and Minerals (Development and Regulation) Act 1957 and Atomic Energy Act 1962. The judicial complaint lodged by Deputy Director, Geology and Mining, Nagercoil, Kanniyakumari District, Tamilnadu. Thorium and titanium (strategic atomic and space age metals) are found in these placer sands called ilmenite, rutile, garnet, zircon, monazite. Thorium containing coastal sands south of Rama Setu represent 32% of the known reserves of the world. These placer sands also contain the heaviest concentration of upto 4% of thorium unprecendented in any heavy minerals areas anywhere in the world.
There are also reports of loss of stockpiles from the Indian Rare Earths Limited offices.
Another report has appeared on 6 September 2007 and headlined in major newspapers all over the world that there is an imminent of threat of a tsunami more devastating than the tsunami of 26 Dec. 2004. This report appeared in the prestigious scientific journal, Nature. The report states that about 60 to 70 million people of the east coast of India in the Bay of Bengal will be at risk. In view of the seriousness of this scientific report, I request you to immediately suspend all project works along the coastline which should be resumed only after a detailed, multi-disciplinary investigation of this threat to national security and integrity of the nation.
According to the Bhabha Atomic Research Centre (BARC) website and records, the estimated reserves of thorium in India are 3,60,000 tonnes and represent the energy equivalent of generation of electricity at the rate of 400,000 MW for 387 years and use in thorium-based breeder reactors. Recent report from BARC also indicates that the nation’s nuclear scientists are ready with a thorium-based reactor to generate electricity which can be made operational in the next 7 years, according to the statement of Dr. Baldev Raj of Atomic Energy Commission.
Thorium 232 bombarded by a neutron yields U-233 and can be used in the three-stage nuclear programme chalked out by our atomic scientific community.

The bridge is not naturally formed. It is made by the great army of Lord RAMA. It saves the coastlines of southern india from Tsunami. Who knows how many tsunamis occurred from Trethayuga. You know Lord RAMA is everywhere and what ever happens to the bridge we hindu’s know the truth. Before we found the bridge we belived and now that we found it does not change our belief. Pls people for many millions of years people tried to stop HINDUSIUM, no one succeeded. I am very sure over the millions of years many discoveries were hidden from the people but we are still here. 1. Whoever trying to break Lord. Ram’s bridge, they are unsuccessful. Literrally all the there giant cutter machines are broken and sunk to the sea. This is a fact and the govt lost around 45 crores on this already.
2. Even if the govt succeed to break our Ram’s bridge (in a worst case scenario), the purpose of saving the time and distance for ships is only 2 hours and also based on the depth big ships also cannot cross it. Then why the hell of doing this project wit hthe people money and playing with people’s beleif??
You will understand now it’s clearly a dirty politics.
Let’s pray that lord.Ram will answer for this.

I strongly opine that we Indians have been trying to follow idealistic principles of secularism, truth, equality etc.. behind the story with some simple questions.

there in the Ocean some 17 lakh years before?*
There was no ocean at all between Tamilnadu and Srilanka even some 10000
years before. Srilanka and India were connected by land and later the sea
submerged the land. And as per the NASA the sand structure is naturally made
not man made.
* #2)* *Why Rama has built a bridge when it was well connected by land at
that time?** *
Is he a Fool?
*#3)* *why did he build an 800 Miles length bridge to cover just 18 miles
distance?(as per Valmiki Ramayanam) *
Is it not *ridiculous* ? May be he started building it from Hyderabad or
may be he built it to reach Andaman Island, Sure it is not towards Srilanka.
*#4)* *If he really built a bridge for crossing PALK Straight, then he must
have built so many bridges to cross Mahanadhi, godhavari, krishna, Penna,
Palar, Cauvery.. (Crossing his route towards Rameshvaram…) Where are they
now? If somebody says they have been destroyed…then how Rama could be
claimed as a god? *
*#5) Is really Ramayanam happened some 17 Lakh years before? *

years. If we have to believe the below story, that is 17 lakhs years before
Rama has build a bridge and waged War. Then we could comfortably conclude it

crossed the Land using a stupid idea called an over-bridge without Wearing

There are many references against Buddhism appear in Valmiki’s Ramayana.

The present form (Valmiki) of Ramayana is no more than 2000 years old. And
Rama as a character can never exists before 5000 years.

against Varnasrama dharma and only because they are against their land being
used for Brahmanic rituals.
· Lakshman killed Dadagai’s son. Raman solace Lakshman that he
killed a Suthra so no need to worry.
· Before building the bridge he destroyed a Village at the request
of Sea king, because untouchable (Panjamas) people of the village have used
a common Well in that village.
· Rama himself and by other characters been projected as a Diehard
protector of Varnasrama Dharma. The whole text of Valmiki Ramayana is a
proof for this. And Ramayana is the literary symbol of re-establishment of
the caste society. All other personal characters of him are common to any
praised historic beings.
· Killed Vali and Dadagai in a most cowardly manner.
· Lakshman cruelly cut Soorpanagai’s nose and breast when she
expressed her love. It is definitely inhuman act.
· He insulted and chafed old woman kooni. This is surely not a Noble
character to embrace.
We cannot consider one as a God only because he is good for his friends,
brothers and he is loyal to his father. And when he is anti people, Anti
women and pro caste, Pro Sati society, we should actually cast him away from
our Society. Rama actually deserves this and that is one of the ways to
redeem our old pride of casteless society. He is not a model to be followed.
* #**10** ) Rama committed suicide. It is even disgraceful and sure it is
not a noble character to embrace. *
Rama never felt guilty when he tortured Seeta. But he only bereaved for his
brother’s demise and committed suicide. Did he really love his wife? Did he
really put faith on his half-in-life, Seeta?
When he was roaming around forest after Seeta was missing, He bereaved
with lustful memories of Seeta. He worried about he is missing the pleasures
of Seeta and he worried about Seeta changes his love towards Ravana. He even
says “if he were in Ayodya he may not worry about Seeta is missing, because
there are alternatives for pleasure available.” It is only the pleasure of
flesh that defines Seeta to him. That is why didn’t bereave for her. Instead
he bereaved for his brother, where true love bond them. Is this a right
attitude to follow in today’s society?
*#11) as per a famous folklore version of Ramayana, Lakshman’s wife Urmila
died during her long-sleep. Urmila went into a trance and fell unconscious
when Laxman was serving his brother Rama in the forest. When Lakshman came
back to Ayodya he searched for his wife and found only her Skeleton remains
in her bed. Lakshman’s concern about his wife was mentioned nowhere in the
Ramayana. Like his brother Rama, Lakshman also considered his wife just as
an object. *
*Last but not the least question:* Those who are protesting against breaking
the Sand Bridge are the ones who gave rebirth to this project (During the
BJP government this project again came in to picture. Before BJP it is the
British rulers who thought about this project). *Why did they do that? When
they rule** , **is Rama not ****a God to them?** **When they rule, is
Ramayana not a true story** **to them? *

You seem to have read the Valmiki Ramayan well, to have been able to so well relate incidents from it. Then how did you miss the fact that the measurements in ancient times used by rishis were so different from current times. Their measurements were much more accurate and minute than what we can ever hope to reach.

I suggest you reread the Ramayan so that you may get your facts a little more straight. You seem to have read it in such a hurry, with a total bend of mind to write any foolish thought you get on it, you have confused several vital facts.
For ex, Surpanaka’s breast was never cut off, and her nose was cut off, because she proposed to Ram, a married man, and tried to harm Seeta ( not Seedha) when he refused her.
And Ram never did doubt Seeta, he was simply trying to fulfill his royal duties by ensuring he did not do anything which would make his citizens doubt their King, something Indian politicians can learn from!
So, once again, I suggest you read your copy of the Valmiki once again, and if you have any doubts, please consult learned rishis on it…

I vwould like to confront the foolish belief
behind the story with some simple questions.
* #1)* *could somebody ask those forwarding the mail to tell what was
there in the Ocean some 17 lakh years before?*
There was no ocean at all between Tamilnadu and Srilanka even some 10000
years before. Srilanka and India were connected by land and later the sea
submerged the land. And as per the NASA the sand structure is naturally made
not man made.
* #2)* *Why Rama has built a bridge when it was well connected by land at
that time?** *
Is he a Fool?
*#3)* *why did he build an 800 Miles length bridge to cover just 18 miles
distance?(as per Valmiki Ramayanam) *
Is it not *ridiculous* ? May be he started building it from Hyderabad or
may be he built it to reach Andaman Island, Sure it is not towards Srilanka.
*#4)* *If he really built a bridge for crossing PALK Straight, then he must
have built so many bridges to cross Mahanadhi, godhavari, krishna, Penna,
Palar, Cauvery.. (Crossing his route towards Rameshvaram…) Where are they
now? If somebody says they have been destroyed…then how Rama could be
claimed as a god? *
*#5) Is really Ramayanam happened some 17 Lakh years before? *

years. If we have to believe the below story, that is 17 lakhs years before
Rama has build a bridge and waged War. Then we could comfortably conclude it

crossed the Land using a stupid idea called an over-bridge without Wearing

There are many references against Buddhism appear in Valmiki’s Ramayana.

The present form (Valmiki) of Ramayana is no more than 2000 years old. And
Rama as a character can never exists before 5000 years.

नल-नील द्वारा पुल बाँधना, श्री रामजी द्वारा श्री रामेश्वर की स्थापना
सोरठा :
* सिंधु बचन सुनि राम सचिव बोलि प्रभु अस कहेउ।
अब बिलंबु केहि काम करहु सेतु उतरै कटकु॥
भावार्थ:- समुद्र के वचन सुनकर प्रभु श्री रामजी ने मंत्रियों को बुलाकर ऐसा कहा- अब विलंब किसलिए हो रहा है? सेतु (पुल) तैयार करो, जिसमें सेना उतरे।
* सुनहु भानुकुल केतु जामवंत कर जोरि कह।
नाथ नाम तव सेतु नर चढ़ि भव सागर तरहिं॥
भावार्थ:- जाम्बवान् ने हाथ जोड़कर कहा- हे सूर्यकुल के ध्वजास्वरूप (कीर्ति को बढ़ाने वाले) श्री रामजी! सुनिए। हे नाथ! (सबसे बड़ा) सेतु तो आपका नाम ही है, जिस पर चढ़कर (जिसका आश्रय लेकर) मनुष्य संसार रूपी समुद्र से पार हो जाते हैं।
चौपाई :
* यह लघु जलधि तरत कति बारा। अस सुनि पुनि कह पवनकुमारा॥
प्रभु प्रताप बड़वानल भारी। सोषेउ प्रथम पयोनिधि बारी॥1॥
भावार्थ:- फिर यह छोटा सा समुद्र पार करने में कितनी देर लगेगी? ऐसा सुनकर फिर पवनकुमार श्री हनुमान्जी ने कहा- प्रभु का प्रताप भारी बड़वानल (समुद्र की आग) के समान है। इसने पहले समुद्र के जल को सोख लिया था,॥1॥
* तव रिपु नारि रुदन जल धारा। भरेउ बहोरि भयउ तेहिं खारा॥
सुनि अति उकुति पवनसुत केरी। हरषे कपि रघुपति तन हेरी॥2॥
भावार्थ:- परन्तु आपके शत्रुओं की स्त्रियों के आँसुओं की धारा से यह फिर भर गया और उसी से खारा भी हो गया। हनुमान्जी की यह अत्युक्ति (अलंकारपूर्ण युक्ति) सुनकर वानर श्री रघुनाथजी की ओर देखकर हर्षित हो गए॥2॥
* जामवंत बोले दोउ भाई। नल नीलहि सब कथा सुनाई॥
राम प्रताप सुमिरि मन माहीं। करहु सेतु प्रयास कछु नाहीं॥3॥
भावार्थ:- जाम्बवान् ने नल-नील दोनों भाइयों को बुलाकर उन्हें सारी कथा कह सुनाई (और कहा-) मन में श्री रामजी के प्रताप को स्मरण करके सेतु तैयार करो, (रामप्रताप से) कुछ भी परिश्रम नहीं होगा॥3॥
* बोलि लिए कपि निकर बहोरी। सकल सुनहु बिनती कछु मोरी॥
राम चरन पंकज उर धरहू। कौतुक एक भालु कपि करहू॥4॥
भावार्थ:- फिर वानरों के समूह को बुला लिया (और कहा-) आप सब लोग मेरी कुछ विनती सुनिए। अपने हृदय में श्री रामजी के चरण-कमलों को धारण कर लीजिए और सब भालू और वानर एक खेल कीजिए॥4॥
* धावहु मर्कट बिकट बरूथा। आनहु बिटप गिरिन्ह के जूथा॥
सुनि कपि भालु चले करि हूहा। जय रघुबीर प्रताप समूहा॥5॥
भावार्थ:- विकट वानरों के समूह (आप) दौड़ जाइए और वृक्षों तथा पर्वतों के समूहों को उखाड़ लाइए। यह सुनकर वानर और भालू हूह (हुँकार) करके और श्री रघुनाथजी के प्रताप समूह की (अथवा प्रताप के पुंज श्री रामजी की) जय पुकारते हुए चले॥5॥
दोहा :
* अति उतंग गिरि पादप लीलहिं लेहिं उठाइ।
आनि देहिं नल नीलहि रचहिं ते सेतु बनाइ॥1॥
भावार्थ:- बहुत ऊँचे-ऊँचे पर्वतों और वृक्षों को खेल की तरह ही (उखाड़कर) उठा लेते हैं और ला-लाकर नल-नील को देते हैं। वे अच्छी तरह गढ़कर (सुंदर) सेतु बनाते हैं॥1॥
चौपाई :
* सैल बिसाल आनि कपि देहीं। कंदुक इव नल नील ते लेहीं॥
देखि सेतु अति सुंदर रचना। बिहसि कृपानिधि बोले बचना॥1॥
भावार्थ:- वानर बड़े-बड़े पहाड़ ला-लाकर देते हैं और नल-नील उन्हें गेंद की तरह ले लेते हैं। सेतु की अत्यंत सुंदर रचना देखकर कृपासिन्धु श्री रामजी हँसकर वचन बोले-॥1॥
* परम रम्य उत्तम यह धरनी। महिमा अमित जाइ नहिं बरनी॥
करिहउँ इहाँ संभु थापना। मोरे हृदयँ परम कलपना॥2॥
भावार्थ:- यह (यहाँ की) भूमि परम रमणीय और उत्तम है। इसकी असीम महिमा वर्णन नहीं की जा सकती। मैं यहाँ शिवजी की स्थापना करूँगा। मेरे हृदय में यह महान् संकल्प है॥2॥
* सुनि कपीस बहु दूत पठाए। मुनिबर सकल बोलि लै आए॥
लिंग थापि बिधिवत करि पूजा। सिव समान प्रिय मोहि न दूजा॥3॥
भावार्थ:- श्री रामजी के वचन सुनकर वानरराज सुग्रीव ने बहुत से दूत भेजे, जो सब श्रेष्ठ मुनियों को बुलाकर ले आए। शिवलिंग की स्थापना करके विधिपूर्वक उसका पूजन किया (फिर भगवान बोले-) शिवजी के समान मुझको दूसरा कोई प्रिय नहीं है॥3॥
* सिव द्रोही मम भगत कहावा। सो नर सपनेहुँ मोहि न पावा॥
संकर बिमुख भगति चह मोरी। सो नारकी मूढ़ मति थोरी॥4॥
भावार्थ:- जो शिव से द्रोह रखता है और मेरा भक्त कहलाता है, वह मनुष्य स्वप्न में भी मुझे नहीं पाता। शंकरजी से विमुख होकर (विरोध करके) जो मेरी भक्ति चाहता है, वह नरकगामी, मूर्ख और अल्पबुद्धि है॥4॥
दोहा :
* संकरप्रिय मम द्रोही सिव द्रोही मम दास।
ते नर करहिं कलप भरि घोर नरक महुँ बास॥2॥
भावार्थ:- जिनको शंकरजी प्रिय हैं, परन्तु जो मेरे द्रोही हैं एवं जो शिवजी के द्रोही हैं और मेरे दास (बनना चाहते) हैं, वे मनुष्य कल्पभर घोर नरक में निवास करते हैं॥2॥
चौपाई :
* जे रामेस्वर दरसनु करिहहिं। ते तनु तजि मम लोक सिधरिहहिं॥
जो गंगाजलु आनि चढ़ाइहि। सो साजुज्य मुक्ति नर पाइहि॥1॥
भावार्थ:- जो मनुष्य (मेरे स्थापित किए हुए इन) रामेश्वरजी का दर्शन करेंगे, वे शरीर छोड़कर मेरे लोक को जाएँगे और जो गंगाजल लाकर इन पर चढ़ावेगा, वह मनुष्य सायुज्य मुक्ति पावेगा (अर्थात् मेरे साथ एक हो जाएगा)॥1॥
* होइ अकाम जो छल तजि सेइहि। भगति मोरि तेहि संकर देइहि॥
मम कृत सेतु जो दरसनु करिही। सो बिनु श्रम भवसागर तरिही॥2॥
भावार्थ:- जो छल छोड़कर और निष्काम होकर श्री रामेश्वरजी की सेवा करेंगे, उन्हें शंकरजी मेरी भक्ति देंगे और जो मेरे बनाए सेतु का दर्शन करेगा, वह बिना ही परिश्रम संसार रूपी समुद्र से तर जाएगा॥2॥
* राम बचन सब के जिय भाए। मुनिबर निज निज आश्रम आए॥
गिरिजा रघुपति कै यह रीती। संतत करहिं प्रनत पर प्रीती॥3॥
भावार्थ:- श्री रामजी के वचन सबके मन को अच्छे लगे। तदनन्तर वे श्रेष्ठ मुनि अपने-अपने आश्रमों को लौट आए। (शिवजी कहते हैं-) हे पार्वती! श्री रघुनाथजी की यह रीति है कि वे शरणागत पर सदा प्रीति करते हैं॥3॥
* बाँधा सेतु नील नल नागर। राम कृपाँ जसु भयउ उजागर॥
बूड़हिं आनहि बोरहिं जेई। भए उपल बोहित सम तेई॥4॥
भावार्थ:- चतुर नल और नील ने सेतु बाँधा। श्री रामजी की कृपा से उनका यह (उज्ज्वल) यश सर्वत्र फैल गया। जो पत्थर आप डूबते हैं और दूसरों को डुबा देते हैं, वे ही जहाज के समान (स्वयं तैरने वाले और दूसरों को पार ले जाने वाले) हो गए॥4॥
* महिमा यह न जलधि कइ बरनी। पाहन गुन न कपिन्ह कइ करनी॥5॥
भावार्थ:- यह न तो समुद्र की महिमा वर्णन की गई है, न पत्थरों का गुण है और न वानरों की ही कोई करामात है॥5॥
दोहा :
* श्री रघुबीर प्रताप ते सिंधु तरे पाषान।
ते मतिमंद जे राम तजि भजहिं जाइ प्रभु आन॥3॥
भावार्थ:- श्री रघुवीर के प्रताप से पत्थर भी समुद्र पर तैर गए। ऐसे श्री रामजी को छोड़कर जो किसी दूसरे स्वामी को जाकर भजते हैं वे (निश्चय ही) मंदबुद्धि हैं॥3॥
चौपाई :
* बाँधि सेतु अति सुदृढ़ बनावा। देखि कृपानिधि के मन भावा॥
चली सेन कछु बरनि न जाई। गर्जहिं मर्कट भट समुदाई॥1॥
भावार्थ:- नल-नील ने सेतु बाँधकर उसे बहुत मजबूत बनाया। देखने पर वह कृपानिधान श्री रामजी के मन को (बहुत ही) अच्छा लगा। सेना चली, जिसका कुछ वर्णन नहीं हो सकता। योद्धा वानरों के समुदाय गरज रहे हैं॥1॥
* सेतुबंध ढिग चढ़ि रघुराई। चितव कृपाल सिंधु बहुताई॥
देखन कहुँ प्रभु करुना कंदा। प्रगट भए सब जलचर बृंदा॥2॥
भावार्थ:- कृपालु श्री रघुनाथजी सेतुबन्ध के तट पर चढ़कर समुद्र का विस्तार देखने लगे। करुणाकन्द (करुणा के मूल) प्रभु के दर्शन के लिए सब जलचरों के समूह प्रकट हो गए (जल के ऊपर निकल आए)॥2॥
* मकर नक्र नाना झष ब्याला। सत जोजन तन परम बिसाला॥
अइसेउ एक तिन्हहि जे खाहीं। एकन्ह कें डर तेपि डेराहीं॥3॥
भावार्थ:-बहुत तरह के मगर, नाक (घड़ियाल), मच्छ और सर्प थे, जिनके सौ-सौ योजन के बहुत बड़े विशाल शरीर थे। कुछ ऐसे भी जन्तु थे, जो उनको भी खा जाएँ। किसी-किसी के डर से तो वे भी डर रहे थे॥3॥
* प्रभुहि बिलोकहिं टरहिं न टारे। मन हरषित सब भए सुखारे॥
तिन्ह कीं ओट न देखिअ बारी। मगन भए हरि रूप निहारी॥4॥
भावार्थ:-वे सब (वैर-विरोध भूलकर) प्रभु के दर्शन कर रहे हैं, हटाने से भी नहीं हटते। सबके मन हर्षित हैं, सब सुखी हो गए। उनकी आड़ के कारण जल नहीं दिखाई पड़ता। वे सब भगवान् का रूप देखकर (आनंद और प्रेम में) मग्न हो गए॥4॥
चला कटकु प्रभु आयसु पाई। को कहि सक कपि दल बिपुलाई॥5॥
भावार्थ:- प्रभु श्री रामचंद्रजी की आज्ञा पाकर सेना चली। वानर सेना की विपुलता (अत्यधिक संख्या) को कौन कह सकता है?॥5॥

Where it is true there is no ocean for the past 5000 years where it is stated in GITA there where the YUGA rotates thosand times and also you take a note that when the YUGA changes, there are many changes occured on this world where for 1,728,000 years ago there is an ocean exist. people are entitled to their own opinions,especially when it comes to religion.hinduism teaches us that.we dont say any other religion is new or fake or manmade.if we,as a national policy,give equal status to all religions,we would be damned if we dint respect our own.this issue of ram setu or adams bridge better be left alone because it hurts the sentiments of 80% hindus of india and even the other 20% people of all other religions.
